Laurica Farm: Cathy and Ian's Story So Far...
Our story began in 2013 when our family moved to an empty piece of land in pursuit of a more sustainable lifestyle. Feeling disenchanted with the food industry, we decided to take control of how we sourced food and nourished our family. And that was the sum total of our plans when we first arrived on the little piece of paradise that has become Laurica Farm.
Since then, we have gathered many friends of the farm as we persist in our journey of ethical food. Fast forward to 2019 and we will be opening the farm gates every Saturday between May and October to host events and promote food security and sustainable living through workshops, open days, farm tours and educational programs.
